Our
Story
Running Pond Acres is a dog boarding facility that has been providing a unique and safe haven for dogs and their owners for a remarkable 25 years. Our inspiration for opening this establishment came from our beloved puppy Molly and our children, as we wanted to create a place that would cater to the needs of all dogs. We take pride in being different in more ways than one, and we find great joy in watching our furry guests play together and have fun. We understand that not all dogs are social butterflies, and that's why we offer private areas for those who prefer to have their own space. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes. My philosophy here is "Your loved one should be as comfortable and as happy as possible while you're away. Your fur babies worry and miss you very much. Our Requirements

All dogs over the age of 12 months must be neutered and spayed.

We only take dogs that are non-aggressive towards people or employees.

Proof of all shots are required. Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) are required.

If your dog is not current on his or her shots, they must be vaccinated at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Most veterinarians recommend kennel cough at least every 6 months if you are boarding frequently.

All dogs must be on a flea-preventative program. Not including flea & tic collars.

Must supply your own dog food with at least 2 extra days worth.

Must do trial day before first overnight boarding
DISCLAIMER
This is an outdoor facility. Dogs are out at play throughout the day and can obtain sore pads, cuts, hotspots, tics, fleas, and illnesses from other dogs/wildlife. Owners are required to stay up to date on vaccines and disclose any pre-existing conditions or concerns with medical or escaping habits so that they may be addressed before arriving to facility and at drop off.
If not properly addressed RPAB&B will not be held liable if not in direct result of kennels negligence.

Dog Boarding
We offer hotel rooms for all the dogs. Each room has a doggy door that leads out to their personal grassy run. All rooms are heated and air conditioned. They have 12 hours of outdoor access during the day. All the runs have trees, sandboxes, toys, and kiddie pools during summer. Rooms will be shared with only their siblings overnight unless requested otherwise.

Baths
We offer dog baths to help keep your furry friend clean and happy. We do not trim nails or cut fur.
​This is only a wash with soap and dry.
